And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
试用“偏”代“罪”译Sin，如下：
利(Lev)4：13  如果以色列全会众因无知而有偏差，那事会众也没看出来，他们行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，他们依然是有罪的。

邹光评论：和合本翻译因把sin和guilty都译成“罪”，发现无法正确表达，就干脆合二为一，造成翻译缺陷，以色列全会众到底做了什么事，有没有罪，读者不清楚。
原文意思是：即使以色列全会众因无知或无意识到而有了偏差，没有完全遵守诫命，会众也没看出来，行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，从耶和华的角度看，他们是依然有罪的。此句与中华文化“不知者，不罪”是有区别的，此句的意思是有偏差，没有完全照神的诫命做，哪怕你预先不知道对错，你做错了，你一样有罪，就是该罚。这样就设立了一个比中华文化更高的标准，只要你没有做到完美，有丝毫偏离，不管你知与不知，都有罪，该罚。打个比方，你开车，闯了红灯，被警察抓了，不管你解释你有没有注意或看见红灯，你都该罚。

和合本翻译不明确。

"误犯了罪"英文意思应是：sinned by mistake or commit crime by mistake 与原意有距离。
